Directions for Use as a Dry Powder Supplement
Sav-A-Lam® milk replacer may be top-dressed or mixed into grain, dry starter feed, or creep feed to encourage feed intake during the weaning period for lambs, or to provide supplemental nutrients to stressed or under-conditioned sheep. Mix 2 dry ounces (approximately 1/2 enclosed cup) into 1 pound of fresh dry feed daily. Discard any unconsumed dry feed each day to help prevent spoilage.
Store dry Sav-A-Lam® milk replacer powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place. Best if used within 12 months of manufacture. Shelf life can be extended by freezing the dry powder in a tightly sealed container. After mixing with water, refrigerate extra milk replacer solution promptly and use within 24 hours.
