Calf Mixing and Feeding Directions

Remove the enclosed scoop. Mix one pouch (16 ounces) of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder into 1-1/2 quarts of warm water. Feed the entire volume as soon as possible after birth. Repeat the feeding every 8 to 12 hours for the first 24 hours of life.

Directions for use

Use the plastic scoop enclosed in the pouch to measure the Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement powder (holds approximately 1 dry ounce) and a standard 8 oz liquid measuring device for water. Add the powder to warm (105°-110°F) water and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk. For best results, give the first feeding of Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement solution as soon as possible after birth in addition to the appropriate feeding of maternal colostrum.  Continue feeding as directed for the first 24 hours of life.  If your animal is more than 24 hours old, provide Multi-Species Colostrum Supplement mixed 50:50 with prepared milk replacer for another 2 to 3 days before changing over to all milk replacer.
